Build an Onboarding Process That Makes New Hires Stick

Objective: This workshop equips small-business leaders to design and implement a simple, repeatable onboarding experience that helps new hires ramp up faster, feel truly connected, and stay longer by combining Bradt’s structured 30/60/90 planning, 

After completing the workshop, participants will be able to:
Design a clear, step‑by‑step onboarding flow for their next hire, including pre‑boarding, Day 1, Week 1, and the first 90 days.
Build and use a basic set of onboarding tools (Four Cs checklist, Day 1 script, and a simple 30/60/90 plan) tailored to their specific business.
Conduct a strengths‑focused “best‑self” conversation with new hires during the first week to increase engagement and fit.
Identify one or two concrete onboarding improvements and commit to implementing and reviewing them with their next hire.
