Maintenance Tech
Hours: 1st 5:30-2:30pm
Dress code: Jeans, t-shirt, close toed shoes, NO jewelry, nothing with holes, rips, tears or with profanity on it or offensive
Job Description: The basic purpose of this position is to maintain all aspects of plant mechanical equipment, conducting preventive maintenance and repairs.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
1. Reads and interprets equipment manuals, work orders, blueprints, building drawings, and electrical schematics to perform required maintenance and service.
2. Inspects, diagnoses, and troubleshoots plant and mobile equipment/system problems.
3. Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, welding, cutting, lubrication, repair power transmission equipment, millwrighting, pneumatics, hydraulics, rigging, and basic electrical skills to troubleshoot and repair plant and mobile equipment/systems as needed.
4. Provides scheduled and emergency/unscheduled repairs of plant and mobile equipment/systems.
5. Communicates with employees/management to obtain/provide information regarding equipment/system issues as needed.
6. Records pertinent labor information from work shift.
Other Duties & Responsibilities
1. Performs pipefitting, plumbing, and carpentry skills to repair plant equipment/systems as needed.
2. Train other employees to perform job duties/skills.
3. Performs other duties as assigned.
