Forklift Freezer/100%/2nd shift

$18.00/Hr

Hours:

1^st Shift: 6am-2:30pm

2^nd Shift: 2pm-10:30pm

3^rd Shift 10pm-6:30am

You will be required to work every other Saturday and Sunday depending on your team assignment.

Breaks/Lunches: 20-minute break in the beginning of the shift along with a 30-minute lunch break.

Dress code: Jeans, t-shirt, slip resistant shoes or shoe covers, Lab coat will be provided. No jewelry, no fake nails or polish, hairnet required. Warming Suit will be provided!

Length of assignment: Evaluation hire depending on job performance, attitude, and attendance

1. Perform all assignments in accordance with established safety policy, procedures, and best practices with specific adherence to proper ergonomics, GMPs, food safety, use of machinery, chemical safety, forklift procedures, basic facility awareness.
2. Operators will be assigned specific duties depending on shift and skill level.
3. Pick orders for customers as specified by bill of lading – pull pallet, piece pick, load pallets, etc.
4. Unload trucks with products from co-packer or other facilities.
5. Ensure all products coincide with delivery information. Inspects all incoming freight by comparing description and quantity against shipper’s bill of lading.
6. Report all discrepancies to the Shift Lead and/or Warehouse Manager.
7. Move completed product from production staging areas and put away in warehouse.
8. All operators use handheld scanner to track product internally and externally when loading or unloading trucks and putting away production in WMS/JBA inventory systems.
9. Accuracy of the RF system is required.
10. Complies with all plant policies, procedures, and practices.
11. Responsibility to work and act safely in accordance with all policies
12. Responsibility to report safety hazards to people or product and comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices
13. Complies with all GMP’s and IFS requirements.
14. Tracking specific items to be determined at a later time.
15. Must be able to take direction from shift lead and Warehouse manager.
16. Receive ingredients/products for plant use correctly and accurately.
17. Cycle count raw and finished goods when time allows or assistance as needed.
18. Move trailers as necessary on Dawn lot.
19. Other duties as assigned by Management.

• All employees must keep area clean and be responsible for cleaning during down time, during changeovers and at the end of a shift. Clean as you go to maintain cleanliness.
• Must be able to tolerate potential allergens:  peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish.

• Position Metrics

1. Must have a 95% error-free rate in product shipment by utilizing shipment review documents.
2. Must, where preventable, not short-ship product to the end user.
3. Must ensure 100% receiving accuracy for shipments delivered for production consumption.
4. Must not have more than 5 allotted errors per quarter in the form of scanning and movement of product to and from inventory.
5. Must prevent product damage/loss when finished goods are put away or moved in the freezer. 

• Minimum Educational / Skill Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or equivalent
2. Basic computer skills
3. Good verbal/written communication skills
4. Above average math skills
5. One-year warehouse/shipping experience
6. Certified to operate motorized material handling equipment
7. Valid PA Driver’s License
8. Ability to lift 50-100 pounds
9. Must be willing to work in a cold environment for a full shift (up to -10 degrees F)
10. Ability to learn to move trailers in Dawn lot using jockey truck or equivalent
11. Must be able to read, speak and write in English.
